Big Musky at Lake St. Clair Metropark 16 Mile Road

Everyone always musky fishes off the boat, but doesn't realize there's still a lot of great musky fishing to be had from the shoreline like for instance Lake St. Clair Metropark. This spot is prime time in the Fall for both Great Lakes Spotted Musky and Tiger Musky. Bucktail spinners will work great up until October, but once the water temperature really drops and the water gets murky in November and December, that's when you to switch it up to something with a slower pace, gives off a good vibration and color, the Strike King 8.0 Squarebill Magnum is the perfect crankbait to use during this time of season. I think the musky easily pick up on the vibration and bright yellow perch colored scheme during the murky water conditions.
